If you're anything like me, you often find yourself with a good lot of files and folders piling up on your virtual desktop. In theory, there's nothing wrong with that. However, comes that big presentation at work, there's a good chance you'll want to hide them from everyone's eyes before plugging your laptop into the projector. Or maybe just want to have the illusion of tidiness.
That's exactly where Hiide comes into play! This small and useful utility lets you hide everything from your desktop with the click of an icon in your menu bar. What's more, you can trigger it when you connect an external display (such as a projector) and hide or replace your desktop wallpaper automatically!
I guess we have no good reason to keep a tidy desktop anymore...
